What does the term 3-in-1 God mean?
The Terms Godhead, Trinity, Triune God, and Three-in-one are not in the Bible. Yet, the Bible refers to three separate parts or beings or people and God calls himself one, so we have a bit of a mystery. Luke 3:21-22 . When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Here the Holy Spirit descended, God spoke from Heaven, and Jesus was on earth. All three Gods were physically separate at this point in time. Yet, all three call themselves ONE. This truth has proven itself to be difficult if not impossible for humans to understand.
